The East High School Band represented the Thunderbirds with pride at the Wyoming State Marching Band Competition, held at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper. Performing their 2025 show, “Wicked,” the band delivered a powerful performance that earned them an Excellent rating.
In addition to their overall score, East brought home three caption awards—Marching, Color Guard, and Woodwinds—recognizing outstanding performances in those areas. These honors highlight the band’s growth, precision, and musical excellence throughout the season.
Although the students were disappointed to fall just short of their goal, they remain proud of how far they’ve come. With the pep band season just around the corner, the Thunderbirds continue to share their energy and school spirit at games and events, playing each note with the same dedication and heart that defined their marching season.
The East High Band’s journey with “Wicked” may have reached its finale, but their passion for music—and their Thunderbird pride—continue to soar.
