On Friday, October 17, 2025, students from East High School will have the exciting opportunity to attend the Laramie County Library Foundation’s annual Booklovers Bash: A Remarkably Bright Night. The event, taking place at the Little America Hotel & Resort in Cheyenne, promises to be a special evening celebrating the magic of reading, storytelling, and the power of community.
This year’s event will feature Shelby Van Pelt, the acclaimed author of Remarkably Bright Creatures, who will share her inspiring journey as a writer and discuss themes of hope and connection found in her work. East High students are looking forward to hearing from her and gaining inspiration to explore their own love of reading and writing.
In addition to meeting Shelby Van Pelt, attendees can expect fun activities, refreshments, and the chance to connect with fellow book lovers from across Laramie County. The Booklovers Bash is more than just a celebration of books—it’s a chance for students to experience how stories bring people together and inspire creativity and community spirit.
The Laramie County Library Foundation’s Booklovers Bash continues to be a cherished tradition in Cheyenne, fostering a love of literacy and learning among residents of all ages. East High School is proud to support such events that enrich the educational experience and encourage lifelong learning.
