Over the weekend in Gillette, East High School senior Colin Crecelius made history on the tennis courts, capturing the boys #1 singles state championship. Colin went undefeated with a 4-0 record, not dropping a single set on his way to the title.
Colin has been a cornerstone of the East tennis program for the past four years, playing #1 singles since his freshman season. Each year, his results at state improved, culminating in a well-earned championship during his senior year.
With the victory, Colin becomes the first boys #1 singles state champion from East in 15 years, leaving behind a legacy of perseverance and excellence for future T-Bird players to follow.
